ok ill name some of the tools im using constantly and ofcource those tools/programs are very good.
1. CommView packet editor - it can do things that no other packet editor can. its simple and has a lot of features.
2. xvi32- its HEX editor. very simple and easy to use and very fast. takes just 1-2 secs to replace something in 10mb file.
3. xpadder - tool for gamepads. it allows you to use your gamepad as keyboard and/or mouse. im using it to control my winamp with gamepad.
4. WPE pro - another packet editor. poor, but its useful because it doesnt capture full packets, it captures from process only and only data that packet contains. rest is automatic.
5. Resource Hacker - its a small tool used to take apart .exe and .dll files. it will show the content and allows you to extract info from them.
6. ollydbg - its a debugger. using it to debug and find bugs in windows programs.
7. Tsearch - its a memory editor. using it to hack games.
8. ArtMoney - another memory editor. this one can also search text strings. also using it to hack games.
9. Raptor 3 - its a powerful wordlist tool. obviously im using it to make good wordlists. it can filter out dubs, sort..etc
10. Vidalia+TOR - TOR is a socks proxy and vidalia is control panel for TOR. very good proxy :)
11. ProxyFirewall - using it to route any program thru proxy (any program as ..programs that does not have proxy support)
12. PasswordsPro - its a password hash cracker. using it to crack MD5 and other password hashes.
13. Cain - also an password hash cracker. doesn't use it anymore. its faster than passwordspro, but when it crashes it doesn't save progress.
14. N-stalker - web vulnerability scanner. using it to scan websites against vulnerabilys.
15. MacroMaker - just as it says. used to make macros. im using it to cheat in games. in MMO games. to pick up stuff..etc
16. mingw - using it to compile C code.
17. IP tools - just a small program that shows info about network and it has an exellent firewall which allows ip and/or port blocking.
18. Net Tools - contains lots of network tools. spoofers, tracers, flooder..etc
19. tamper data - its add-on for firefox. im using it to exploit and hack some sites and chatrooms. also to gather info.
remember that this is only about tools, not about some programs like zonealarm, winamp ..etc. this place is about tools only. not about antivirus, firewall ...etc, because those are not directly tools.
If you know any better replacement tool for my listed stuff then plz let me know. for example if you know better packet editor than commview then post it and explain WHY its better.
