Any media players that can sync ipods and aren't shit?

I am tired of Itunes getting worse and worse with each release. I should have done this sooner but I uninstalled every trace of this proprietary piece of junk. So, what are the best media players out there that are capable of syncing your Ipod?

i don't use crAPPLE, so no idea, i stay as far as possible from crAPPLE. only thing i use is Leap Motion and it's software is crapping up my PC already, setting all sorts of services and shit to run on startup. had to disable all that. however i did pull friend's ipod onto my pc with something tho, can't remember what i used. just google?
it messed up all filenames tho.

I tried Foobar with an Ipod sync addon and it seems to work fine. So if anyone else here made the mistake of buying Apple's commercialized piece of shit software you can try that. If you are really desperate to keep Itunes for some reason I know you can revert to an older version of Itunes.
